Delete Your Prepared Account

You can request deletion of your Prepared account at any time. This page applies to accounts used with Prepared services, including Chef Chat, Prepared operations tools, and related Prepared apps or websites.
How to request account deletion
To request deletion of your account, email us at support@eatprepared.com.
Please include:
- The phone number associated with your Prepared account
- Your name
- Your kitchen or business name, if applicable
- A short note saying that you want to delete your account
We may need to verify your identity before deleting the account.
What we delete
When your deletion request is verified, we will delete or de-identify personal information associated with your account, including:
- Your Prepared account profile
- Your phone number and account login information
- Chef Chat messages and support conversations
- App session information
- Operational account records that are no longer needed to provide the service
Deleting your account may also remove your ability to access Chef Chat, Prepared operations tools, and related services.
Information we may keep
We may retain certain information when necessary for legitimate business, legal, accounting, tax, safety, security, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution purposes. This may include records related to:
- Payments, payouts, invoices, or accounting
- Orders, transactions, or delivery history
- Tax or legal compliance
- Security logs or abuse-prevention records
- Active disputes, investigations, or unresolved support issues
If we retain any information, we will only keep it for as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes.
How long deletion takes
We will confirm receipt of your request and process verified deletion requests within a reasonable time, unless we need additional information to verify the request or are legally permitted or required to retain certain records.
Stop receiving messages
You can stop receiving SMS messages from Prepared by replying STOP to any SMS message. You can also sign out of Chef Chat in the app's Settings. Signing out does not delete your account; to delete your account, please email us using the instructions above.
